NYC 2012:

Well my credit card is currently sitting in the corner of my room staring at me smoking a cigarette and smiling. It is more than satisfied.

I proceeded to spend WAY more than intended on my recent trip to the city of all things pretty and vain, but alas. As I move forward in posting my first youtube haul in over a year I am not feeling any guilt but perfect contentment at wonderful little treasures I came home with :)

SUPERFICIAL SPLURGES OF THE MOMENT:

Oversized Gold Runway watch by my bf Michael Kors; I have wanted this for a little while now and finally decided that NYC was the one place that I could just go for it :)

Tory Burch classic black and gold flats: these I have wanted for more than two years and with every post on buynowbloglater "laura" posted I envied them even more and I finally jumped on the ever circling wagon. It basically ran me over.

Nude Gold studded slippers from Topshop: beautiful addition to my shoe family, trendy but simple and also go with almost everything I own. A great price and I great find. <3

Peterpan collared shirts: I have fallen in love this late winter/early spring with the peterpan trend. I have forever been a fan of sheer blouses and this is a nice new twist on my tried and true blouses that I wear day in and day out.

Chunky jewellry: I have been a long time fan of classic "dainty" jewellery. My pave diamond pendant, my side ways cross, simple small pendants on little chains have been my go to for about 4-5 years. Recently I have FALLEN in love with HRH collection pieces as well as a new purchase from NYC that mimics a house of harlow necklace that TiffanyD sported a few years ago on YT. I'm loving the contrast that the chunk adds to my "classic (boring some might say) wardrobe". It adds a retro yet modern feel to my favorite simple items in my closet and I can not get enough!

  1. Hi Mandi. I'm glad to see you splurged and bought yourself the Tory Burch Reva flats. I hope you love them. I watched your YouTube video and I can totally relate to walking into a store to buy these flats and feeling nervous. I'm glad you had a great tory Burch experience. I recently had the same nervous experience buying my first pair. But by the end it was amazing. I was treated so well. After the first pair the flood gates opened and I now own 5 pairs of Revas. Crazy. This is my collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/39715038@N00/6808072797/in/photostream (I think you have to cut and paste the links to my Flickr photo page)
This is me wearing them. (I hope this doesn't offend you but I'm a guy) http://www.flickr.com/photos/39715038@N00/6942108892/in/photostream

    Thanks for sharing
